The Beginning
HeadTech is a ground-breaking next generation of smart wearing technology that is designed to work with end users to serve and protect them at work, rest or play.
Its founder is a and former award-winning Aerospace Technician, nominated several years in a row for Boeing’s Special Inventors Award and the prestigious Chairman’s Award being Boeings highest achievement awards given to an individual or for team categories for his collaborated efforts. Designing several systems and inventive tooling solutions for Boeing and whose work has gone on to be patented by the Boeing Company globally for the innovative designs and technologies created in the aerospace arena.
HeadTech was founded after many years of research into asthma related problems. The idea came about after learning that a colleague’s son had chronic Asthma, which was exacerbated during thunderstorms (referred to as Thunderstorm Asthma) and found that many people worldwide suffered from this problem.
It was through this research into asthma that it was discovered how damaging the current environment and effects of air pollution have on society. Air pollution effects not only asthma suffers but humanity on a global scale. The World Health Organisation lists Air Pollution as the 4th biggest threat to humanity with over 99% of the world population being affected.
During this time, Covid 19 or ‘SARS-CoV-2’ (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2) was discovered and while the Covid pandemic slowed the pace for many companies it did not deter progress at HeadTech who were determined to solve and come up with a solution to aid humanity.
Using skills gained from the aerospace industry the founder of HeadTech hit upon the novel idea of bringing technology together into one device to create a solution and teamed with others to Design and Patent a new range of smart wearable devices and systems.
These devices offer greater protection to a user from environmental effects such as air pollution, for asthma suffers, the common Cold, Flu, COVID, as well as a variety of pathogens and other related medical conditions that affect the human respiratory system. It also provides protection for travellers allowing safer travel on planes and confined spaces as well as places where large groups of people congregate.
During the research phase, it was also discovered there were various medical conditions that could benefit from wearable technology, including helping the sight impaired, as well as creating new worldwide systems, whereby people from all walks of life could benefit.
Other areas that we at HeadTech have been developing within our range of devices, is to improve the language barriers using audio language translation in real time, as well as new types of photography, scanning and shopping systems, new interactive immersed XR/AR/VR gaming, and systems that allow more improved interactions between individuals.
With capabilities and design elements that allow HeadTech products to ‘transform’, be personalised and interconnect to each other, our devices could become the new smart communication devices, particularly as they can adapt to 3rd party or loyalty marketing programs, using open (or closed) systems in real time, and could remove the need for smart phones or at least how we use smart phones moving into the future.
